Rhonda Rajsich defeated Paola Longoria, 7-11, 11-9, 11-7, 11-4, to win the 2010 Christmas Classic in Arlington, Virginia - a Women's Professional Racquetball Organization (WPRO) tour Tier 1 event. It's Rajsich's third victory over Longoria in as many meetings between the #2 and #1, respectively, WPRO players this season.
Rajsich trails Longoria by less than 200 points in the WPRO rankings, and Longoria won this event last season, so the victory may be enough to put Rajsich back on top of the WPRO. She was the #1 WPRO player at the end of three consecutive seasons: 2005-06 to 2007-08.
The next WPRO event is the Coast to Coast California Open in Canoga Park, California January 7-9, 2011.
