It will be #1 versus #2 in the final of the Ghost of Georgetown - Kansas City Pro-Am - the first International Racquetball Tour (IRT) tournament of the 2012-13 season, as top seed Kane Waselenchuk will play second seed Rocky Carson on Sunday.
Waselenchuk advanced to the final as the result of forfeit in the semi-finals by Alvaro Beltran, whose back was acting up. Hopefully, Beltran's injury won't effect him long term, as the US Open in coming up in two weeks.
In the other semi-final, Carson defeated Jose Rojas, 11-8, 7-11, 11-6, 11-5, to set up his first final with Waselenchuk since the Party with the Pros event in March in St Louis, which Waselenchuk won in three straight games.
