The International Racquetball Tour (IRT) Atlanta Pro-Am in Lilburn, Georgia had an exciting start, but the ending was disappointing, as Kane Waselenchuk, the #1 IRT player, won the final when Rocky Carson had to forfeit due to injury. Waselenchuk also had a forfeit win in the semi-final over Alejandro Landa.
The win is Waselenchuk's 108th IRT tour title, by far the most wins by any player. Cliff Swain is second with 70.
In the IRT doubles division, top seeds Alvaro Beltran and Daniel De La Rosa defeated 2nd seeds Jake Bredenbeck and Jose Diaz in two straight games, 15-8, 15-2.
The next IRT Tier 1 event is the St. Louis IRT Pro Racquetball Winter Rollout, November 16-19. The first half of the IRT season ends with the Portland Tournament of Champions in Portland, Oregon, November 30-December 3.

Is Rocky seriously injured? What happened? Why was the previous match against Kane also a forfeit?
