Rodrigo Montoya and Andree Parrilla won the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) doubles division at the 41st Lewis Drug IRT
Pro-Am in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, as they defeated Alejandro Landa and Samuel Murray, 15-11, 15-13.
It was a close match throughout, and Landa and Murray had leads early in both games only to see Montoya and Parrilla come back to win. A good match had a bad end, as Landa skipped two balls on the last two rallies both on serve returns of Parrilla's straight lob serve on the right side. On the first, Landa tried to go to the ceiling with the resturn, and it didn't get to the front wall. The second he took early, just as the ball crossed the receiving line, but again Landa skipped it.
The singles final will be Sunday at 11 AM. Look for all the action via the usual IRT media outlets: The IRT Network, the IRT YouTube channel or the IRT Facebook page.
