Paola Longoria and Rhonda Rajsich will once again face off in a final of a Women's Professional Racquetball Organization (WPRO) tournament, as they won their respective semi-final matches on Saturday in the Mile High Pro-Am in Denver.
Longoria defeated 5th seed Krystal Csuk, 11-5, 11-6, 11-5, while Rajsich ousted 3rd seed Kerri Wachtel in four games, 11-4, 11-0, 8-11, 11-9.
Longoria and Rajsich are the premier WPRO players, and have been for the last few seasons. But Longoria has won 8 of their last 9 matches, as well as the gold medal final at last year's Pan American Games.
Thus, the smart money would be on Longoria in Sunday's final, but Rajsich will certainly give it everything she has to beat the WPRO's #1 player.
