Daniel De La Rosa further confirmed his place as the #1 player on the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) on Saturday by winning the 2022 IRT SoCal Open in Canoga Park, California. He defeated Andree Parrilla in the final, 15-8, 15-11. It’s De La Rosa’s fourth win in the last 9 months.
Since January 1st 2020, no one has won more IRT titles than De La Rosa's five.
De La Rosa reached the final by defeating 5th seed Samuel Murray, 15-13, 15-9, in one semi-final, while Parrilla defeated Eduardo Portillo in the other, 15-8, 15-8.
