Recently, we discussed sport specialization and how the top racquetball players played other sports in addition to racquetball, which they credit with helping them be better racquetball players. Tim Keown of ESPN recently wrote a piece on the topic of sport specialization, which is doing away with multi-sport athletes to the detriment of those developing athletes.
