After a day with many upsets, the quarter finals of the Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT) Paola Longoria Invitational tournament in Monterrey, Mexico ran according to form, and all four higher seeds won in three straight games.
The tournament's namesake, Paola Longoria, the #1 LPRT player, defeated Jennifer Saunders, 11-1, 11-6, 11-2, in her quarter final match. She'll face doubles parter Samantha Salas Solis in the semi-finals, as Salas Solis defeated Sharon Jackson, 11-3, 11-5, 11-2, in the quarters.
Second seed Rhonda Rajsich beat Frédérique Lambert, 11-5, 11-4, 11-9, and will face 6th seed Maria Jose Vargas in the semi-finals, as Vargas beat Aubrey Kirch, 12-10, 11-5, 12-10.
