Dylan Reid won the World Racquetball Tour (WRT) Consolation division at the Mount Rainier Open in Seattle on Sunday by defeating Tim Prigo in the final, 15-3, 15-4. In the semi-finals, Reid beat Sebastian Fernandez, 15-14, 15-5, and Prigo defeated Rich Carver, 15-7, 15-5.
In Mt Clemens, Michigan, Steve Goedker, seeded 6th in the draw, defeated each of the top three seeds to win the Motor City Rollout - a Tier 5 event on the International Racquetball Tour (IRT). Goedker beat top seed Scott Young in the final, 13-11, 11-8, 7-11, 7-11, 14-12, and 2nd seed Jason Kennedy, 11-4, 11-4, 4-11, 5-11, 11-6, in the semi-finals, and 3rd seed William Garrow, 11-2, 11-4, 11-4, in the quarterfinals.
The next main pro event will be the Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT) New Jersey Open in Warren, N.J., March 3-5.
