Kane Waselenchuk and Rocky Carson, the #1 and #2 players on the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) will meet yet again, as they won their respective semi-finals on Saturday at the 15th Annual Ghost of Georgetown tournament in Overland Park, Kansas.
Waselenchuk beat Ben Croft in three straight games, 11-0, 11-5, 11-5, in one semi, while Carson defeated Alvaro Beltran, 11-3, 11-2, 4-11, 11-5, in the other.
Waselenchuk and Carson also met in the final last week in San Marcos, Texas, which was the first IRT event of the season. Waselenchuk won that in four games.
Waselenchuk's record against Carson is 51-3, with two of the three losses the result of injuries. The only time Carson defeated Waselenchuk was in May 2003 at Pro Nationals, where Carson won in three straight games.
