Jake Bredenbeck continues to impress, as he won his quarterfinal match at the World Racquetball Tour (WRT) Port City Shootout in Stockton, California in two straight games, defeating Taylor Knoth, 15-6, 15-7. The win puts Bredenbeck in the semi-finals Saturday evening against Marco Rojas, who was a 15-8, 15-6 winner against Kadim Carrasco.
In the other quarterfinal matches top seed David Horn squeaked out a win against Sebastian Franco, 11-15, 15-12, 11-10, and Jose Diaz defeated Danny Lavely, 15-4, 15-7, to set up an all Stockton semi-final.
The semi-finals will begin at 5 PM, and the final will be Sunday at noon PDT. Play can be viewed via the Gearbox website.
