Kane Waselenchuk completed the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) Sunday by winning the Ektelon National Singles Championship in Fullerton, Calif. Waselenchuk defeated Rocky Carson in the final, 11-(-1), 11-1, 11-7 in final. Waslenchuk won 12 of the 13 IRT events he entered this season, losing only by default due to illness at the New York City Pro-Am.
In the semi-finals, Waselenchuk defeated Chris Crowther, 11-6, 11-1, 11-3, in what was Crowther's second career Grand Slam semi-final, while Carson beat Ben Croft, 11-1, 11-6, 8-11, 12-10.
