2012 WPRO SCS Title & Escrow Pro-Am Preview

Gigi Rock, Commissioner of the Women's Professional Racquetball Organization (WPRO) informed us that this weekend's SCS Title and Escrow Pro-Am in Herndon, Virginia will not be the last WPRO event of their 2011-12 season, contrary to what we wrote yesterday. The WPRO will have a satellite event at the Ektelon Nationals in Fullerton, California later this month.

So this weekend's tournament isn't the last opportunity for players to earn ranking points, but it's their last best opportunity as it is a Tier 1 event.

Twenty four players are entered for Herndon, including Kristen Bellows who wasn't entered when we wrote yesterday's piece. Also in the draw is Canadian National Team member Brandi Jacobson Prentice, who doesn't have a current ranking, so she could be in a position to play a wild card role.

We've created a draw for Herndon based on the latest WPRO rankings. There are a couple of uncertainties as Karen Morton and Jacobson Prentice don't have rankings.
