USAR Indoor Championships - Ros’s 1st title, Carson’s 12th

The 2025 USA Racquetball (USAR) National Indoor Championships concluded Sunday in Pleasanton, California, and across the five national team divisions there was only one multiple winner, and that due to the recent addition of mixed doubles. Erika Manilla won mixed doubles with Erik Garcia early in the event, and then won women’s doubles with Michelle Key.

But the women’s singles title went to Naomi Ros, who defeated Hollie Scott in a dramatic five game final, 11-9, 6-11, 11-9, 9-11, 12-10. It’s the first title for Ros, who is also the USAR’s U18 champion.

While the women’s singles champion was a surprise, the men’s singles champion was not, as Daniel De La Rosa defeated Jake Bredenbeck in four games, 7-11, 11-6, 13-11, 11-7.

In Men's Doubles, the veteran team of Rocky Carson and David Horn surprised the field but upsetting the 2nd seeds Jake Bredenbeck and Sam Bredenbeck in the final, 11-9, 5-11, 12-10, 8-11, 12-10, after knocking off top seeds De La Rosa and Sebastian Fernandez in the semi-finals. It’s Carson’s 12th US men’s doubles championship.
