Conrrado Moscoso beat Andree Parrilla, 15-0, 15-11, to win the 2025 International Racquetball Tour (IRT) SoCal Open on the weekend in Fullerton, California. The win is the 2nd straight for Moscoso, and the 11th of his career.
Both semi-final matches were upsets, as Moscoso, the 4th seed, beat IRT #1 Kane Waselenchuk, 15-2, 15-13, and 6th seed Parrilla defeated 2nd seed Andrés Acuña, 10-15, 15-12, 11-1.
There have now been four different winners this IRT season: Moscoso (twice), Waselenchuk (three times), Acuña and Jake Bredenbeck.
Moscoso also won the SoCal doubles title, as he and Kadim Carrasco defeated Javier Mar and Rodrigo Montoya, 15-4, 15-12, in the final. In the semi-finals, Moscoso and Carrasco beat Parrilla and Eduardo Portillo, 15-5, 15-4, while Mar and Montoya needed a tie-breaker to defeat Jake Bredenbeck and Sam Bredenbeck, 8-15, 15-4, 11-2.
The next IRT event is the 46th Annual Lewis Drug Pro-Am in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, January 29 to February 1, 2026. If you missed any of the action from Fullerton, check out the matches via the IRT YouTube channel.
