Paola Longoria and Rhonda Rajsich will meet in the final of a Women's Professional Racquetball Organization (WPRO) event for the fourth time this season on Sunday, when they'll battle for the California Open title in Canoga Park, California. Longoria is the #1 WPRO player, but Rajsich could take back the top spot with a victory Sunday, as she's had a better record this season including wins over Longoria in their three previous meetings.
In the semi-finals, Longoria defeated 4th seed Samantha Salas Solis in three straight games, 11-0, 11-7, 11-5, while Rajsich had to come back against 3rd seed Cheryl Gudinas, after Gudinas won the first game. Rajsich then won the next three to take the match, 10-12, 11-2, 11-1, 11-6.
The final can be seen on the IRT Network at 11 AM PST (2 PM EST) Sunday.
