The World Racquetball Tour (WRT) 2018 season resumes this weekend with the 2018 Georgia Open in Lilburn, Georgia, where there is an unusually small draw of 14 for a WRT event, which often has fields of more than twice that size. Jake Bredenbeck is top seed with David Horn as the 2nd seed, Jaime Martell 3rd seed and Francisco Troncoso 4th seed.
Other players of note in the draw are Mauricio Zelada, seeded 5th, Hiroshi Shimizu, 6th seed, and Thomas Carter, 10th seed.
You can watch the action from Georgia via the WRT website or its Facebook page. The play begins Friday with the 16s. The quarters will be Saturday beginning at 10 AM with the semi-finals at 5 and 6 PM. The final Sunday at noon.
