2017 USA Racquetball National Singles Championships - Early Round Action

No big upsets at the USA Racquetball National Singles Championships in Tempe, Arizona, although 9th seed Luis Avila did upset 8th seed Robert Collins, 11-15, 15-13, 11-0, in Men's Singles. Also in Women's Singles, 10th seed Chantel Anderson defeated 7th Laura Brandt, 15-2, 15-0.

Neither of the top seeds and defending champions Rhonda Rajsich on the women's side and Rocky Carson on the men's side, have seen action yet, but men's 2nd seed Jose Rojas defeated Israel Torres, 15-2, 15-2. Women's 2nd seed Sharon Jackson had a bye on Thursday.
