2010 IRT Kansas City Pro-Am - Quarter final results

Half of the usual suspects are in the semi-finals at the Kansas City Pro-Am/11th Annual Ghost of Georgetown - the first event of the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) season. Top seed Kane Waselenchuk and 3rd seed Rocky Carson are playing on Saturday, but 2nd seed Jack Huczek and 4th seed Shane Vanderson are not.

Huczek went out early as Alvaro Beltran beat him in close Round of 16 match, but Beltran, the former #3 IRT player, pulled off the victory in five games,10-12, 11-9, 11-3, 9-11, 13-11.

But that was as far as Beltran went as Mitch Williams defeated him in the quarter finals, 11-8, 8-11, 11-9, 11-8. Williams will play Carson in the semis, as Carson defeated Chris Crowther in the quarters, 12-10, 11-6, 11-7.

Vanderson went out to 5th seed Ben Croft in four games, losing 11-7, 11-2, 0-11, 11-4. The win puts Croft in the semis against Waselenchuk, who defeated Jose Rojas, 11-7, 11-4, 11-4. Rojas had an upset win in the Round of 16 over Andy Hawthorne, 11-7, 11-5, 13-11.

The semi-finals are later Saturday with the final on Sunday.
