Francisco Gomez Reyes is the main upset winner coming out of the qualifying rounds at the World Professional Racquetball Championship in Cali, Columbia - the second event of the International Racquetball Tour's (IRT's) 2010-2011 season. Reyes was seeded 17th and defeated the 16th seed Andreas Herrera. After falling behind twice in games - 1-0 and 2-1 - Reyes won the last two games of the match by 2 points each, the narrowest of margins, taking the match in five games: 7-11, 11-1, 7-11, 11-9, 12-10.
Reyes's reward is a Round of 16 match against the top player in the world, Kane Waselenchuk.
The most comfortable win in preliminaries was Anthony Herrera's victory over Juan Felipe Garzon, as Herrera only gave up 2 points in three games winning 11-0, 11-2, 11-0.
