LPRT - Reseda California Tournament - First Round

One big upset in the first round of the Ladies Pro Racquetball Tour (LPRT) event in Rededa, California, where Frédérique Lambert defeated former #1 Jackie Paraiso, 8-11, 11-6, 11-6, 13-11. She'll play 5th seed Adrienne Fisher in the Round of 16 later on Friday.

Two other players we noted in our preview also won in the first round as Maria Jose Vargas defeated Jocelyn Loredo, 11-4, 11-6, 11-4, and Janel Tisinger beat fellow Californian Hailey Miller, 11-5, 11-2, 11-4.

The Round of 16 concludes Friday evening and then the quarter finals will begin at 10 AM PDT Saturday morning, and you can watch some of them on-line via the LPRT network.
