Riffel comes back from 0-2 to win in IRT Turkey Shootout qualifying

Nicholas Riffel came back from two games down to defeat Scott McClellan, 2-11, 8-11, 11-2, 11-9, 11-2, in the qualifying round of the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) 24th Annual Turkey Shootout in Garden City, Kansas. The win put Riffel into the Round of 16 on Friday, when he'll play IRT #2 Rocky Carson.

Also winning on Thursday was Jacob Matthews, who defeated Logan Reese in three straight games, 11-5, 11-2, 11-3. Matthews will face IRT #1 Kane Waselenchuk in the 16s on Friday.

The IRT Network will broadcast matches beginning at 10 AM Friday morning with the Round of 16.
