Alejandro Cardona was a double winner Sunday in Seattle at the World Racquetball Tour (WRT) 2016 Mt Rainier Open, as he won both singles and doubles. In singles, he came out cruising in the first game against Jake Bredenbeck, and although the second game was much closer, Cardona won in two straight, 15-3, 15-10.
In the doubles final, Cardona and Gerardo Franco needed a tie-breaker to defeat David Horn and Andree Parrilla, 15-9, 10-15, 11-6.
The Sonora Open - April 21-24 - is the next WRT event, but the WRT has partnered with the International Racquetball Federation (IRF) and will be live streaming the Pan American Championships from San Luis Potosi, Mexico on March 24-26, which will be the last few days of the tournament.
