2016 LPRT Boston Open - Quarterfinals

None of the quarterfinal matches at the Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT) Boston Open were straight game victories, as three were four games and one went to a fifth game tie-breaker. In that match, 4th seed Jessica Parrilla came back from a game down to defeat 5th seed Alexandra Herrera, 6-11, 11-9, 11-2, 8-11, 11-2.

Sixth seed Cristina Amaya had the upset of the round, as she defeated 3rd seed Rhonda Rajsich, 11-2, 11-8, 11-13, 11-7. Rajsich, a former #1 player, has yet to reach a semi-final this season, as this was her fifth quarterfinal loss in as many events.

LPRT #1 Paola Longoria defeated 9th seed Adriana Riveros, 12-10, 11-1, 10-12, 11-3, and 2nd seed Frédérique Lambert beat veteran left-hander Susana Acosta, 11-5, 11-9, 13-11, 11-5. In the semi-finals, Longoria will play Parrilla and Lambert faces Amaya.

You can watch the singles semi-finals live via the LPRT LiveStream channel Saturday afternoon at 4 and 5 PM Eastern with the doubles semis at 6 and 7 PM. The singles final will be 11 AM Eastern on Sunday with the doubles final to follow.
