Doubles draws for 2016 World Junior Championships

Mexican teams are the top seeds in all of the doubles divisions at the 28th International Racquetball Federation (IRF) World Junior Racquetball Championships in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, but in the Girl’s U18 division they are behind, as the USA team of Erika Manilla and Jordan Cooperrider have won both of their matches so far, while Mexicans Mariel Morales and Erin Rivera are one and one after losing to the Guatemala team of Gabriela Martinez and Andrea Martinez, 15-10, 15-9, on Tuesday.

In Boy’s U18 doubles, Gerardo Franco and Cristian Longoria of Mexico are the odds on favorites to win gold, although we’ll be interested to see them play 2nd seeds Jake Birnel and Mauro Rojas of the USA in the final, assuming the two teams make it that far.

Look for live streaming of matches from San Luis Potosi via the IRF YouTube channel.
