IRT 32nd Annual Shamrock Shootout - Round of 64

Thursday’s Round of 64 at the International Racquetball Tour’s (IRT’s) 32nd Annual Shamrock Shootout didn’t produce any surprises, and just one tie-breaker. Christian Wer came back from 2-1 down to defeat Scott McClellan, 11-8, 2-11, 4-11, 11-2, 11-8. Wer will play Samuel Murray in the Round of 32 Friday, as Murray beat Hanzel Martinez, 11-6, 11-4, 11-0.

Of the matches in the 32s, perhaps the closest will be the all-Lefty battle between Robert Collins and Thomas Carter. Another one to watch will be Marco Rojas against up and comer Gerardo Franco.

The Round of 32 starts on Friday morning at 10 AM CDT. Look for the action on the IRT Network. The Round of 16 will start at 4 PM Friday afternoon with the quarterfinals Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM, and the semi-finals at 5:30 and 8:30 and the final on Sunday at 1 PM.
