Quarterfinal results from 2018 IRT Los Angeles Open

Three of the top four seeds are through to the semi-finals at the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) 2018 Los Angeles Open in Canoga Park, California. But top seed and IRT #1 Rocky Carson needed a tie-breaker to defeat 9th seed Sebastian Franco, 9-15, 15-11, 11-3. Carson will play IRT #4 Daniel De La Rosa in the semi-finals Saturday, as De La Rosa was an easy winner over Jansen Allen, 15-2, 15-3.

On the other side of the draw, IRT #2 Kane Waselenchuk defeated Alejandro Landa, 15-11, 15-9, in the quarterfinals. Waselenchuk will face Mario Mercado in the semi-finals, as Mercado had a forfeit win over IRT #3 Alvaro Beltran.

The doubles quarterfinals are Saturday morning at 9 and 10 AM with the singles semi-finals in the afternoon at 2 and 3 PM and the doubles semi-finals at 5 and 6 PM in the evening.
