IRT Singles Round 2 of Qualifying at the 2021 UnitedHealthcare US Open

Rodrigo Rodriguez has perhaps the most interesting result from second round of qualifying in the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) Singles draw at the 2021 UnitedHealthcare US Open in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as he defeated Mauricio Zelada, 15-7, 15-0. That's some result for a player we don't know much about. The win earns Rodriguez a spot in the Round of 32 on Thursday, when he'll play 6th seed Andree Parrilla.

Nicholas Riffel had one of his most memorable wins in the second round of qualifying, as he came back from a game down and 5-1 down in the breaker to defeat 2 time US Open champion Cliff Swain, 11-15, 15-10, 11-9. The win puts Riffel into the 32s against 7th seed Eduardo Portillo.
