2017 IRT Lewis Drug Pro-Am Qualifying Results

There were no real surprises at the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) 2017 Lewis Drug Pro-Am in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. IRT #1 Kane Waselenchuk isn’t there due to injury, but there will be two of his fellow Canadians in the Round of 16, as Samuel Murray defeated Matthew Majxner, 13-11, 11-2, 11-5, and Lee Connell beat Scott McClellan, 11-9, 11-7, 11-7. Murray will face IRT #2 Rocky Carson on Friday in the 16s, while Connell will be up against 4th seed Alvaro Beltran.

Robert Collins won the only tie-breaker match Thursday, as the left-hander came back from two games down to defeat Justus Benson, 5-11, 10-12, 11-3, 11-3, 11-6. Collins will play 7th seed Sebastian Franco in the Round of 16 Friday.

The IRT Network will have the action from Sioux Falls starting with the Round of 16 on Friday morning at 10 AM Central.
