LPRT Rankings - April 30, 2013

For the first time in women's professional racquetball history, three of the top four players are Mexicans. Indeed, it's the first time that three of the top four players are not American. In the latest Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT) rankings Paola Longoria is #1, Susana Acosta is #3 and Samantha Salas is #4. Only Rhonda Rajsich breaks up the Mexico trio, as she's the #2 LPRT player.

The men's International Racquetball Tour (IRT) has had two of their top four players as non-Americans, but never more than that.

Salas is the player who's moved up most significantly. Her runner-up performance at the Battle of the Alamo in San Antonio last weekend boosted her ranking from 6th to 4th ahead of both Cheryl Gudinas (in 5th) and Adrienne Fisher (6th).

Krystal Csuk has again moved ahead of Kerri Wachtel into 7th with Wachtel in 8th.

Grace Hughes and Cristina Amaya round out the top 10 at 9th and 10th with Da'monique Davis's quarter final performance in San Antonio moving her up to 11th ahead of Jennifer Saunders who's now 12th.

Maria Jose Vargas and Veronica Sotomayor have both moved up. Vargas is 14th and Sotomayor is 16th.

The LPRT's next event is the SCS Title and Escrow Pro/Am in Herndon, Virginia which is this weekend May 3-5, 2013.
