2010 USAR Intercollegiate Championships - Semi final results

Michelle Key of Arizona State University has caused a major upset at the 2010 USA Racquetball 38th National Intercollegiate Championships at Missouri State University in Springfield by defeating top seed Sheryl Lotts of Baldwin Wallace College in the semi-finals of the top women's division. Key won the first game by a wide margin then had to endure a tie-breaker and won the match by one point, 15-3, 9-15, 11-10.

Fourth seeded Key will face the second seed, Sharon Jackson of the University of Alabama, in the final on Saturday, as Jackson defeated 4th seed Ashley Willhite of Oregon State University in the other semi-final, 15-5, 15-7.

On the men's side, top seed Jose Rojas of Delta College is on track to defend his Intercollegiate title, as he's back in the final after beating 4th seed Joey Lakowske (Oregon State), 15-9, 15-7, in the semi-finals on Friday.

Taylor Knoth (University of Oregon) is Rojas's surprise opponent in the final, as Knoth is the 6th seed, but he has been laying waste to the higher seeds on the bottom side of the draw.
