2010 Miller Lite Open - PREVIEW

The Women's Professional Racquetball Organization (WPRO) is back in action this weekend with the Miller Lite Open in York, Pennsylvania. Top seed Paola Longoria, fresh off her gold medal performance last week at the Pan American Championships in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, could face her toughest Round of 16 opponent this season as we believe current US Nationals champion Aimee Ruiz plays into Longoria.

The Racquetball Blog has done up an unofficial draw based on the latest WPRO rankings, and the knowledge that Jennifer Saunders, currently the 11th ranked WPRO player, will miss the Miller Lite event as she's tweaked her back. Saunders doesn't expect the injury to keep her out of action more than a week, so she should be in the next WPRO event, the In Shape Sport WPRO Racquetball Championships in Stockton, California April 22-25.

The Miller Lite Open is also a Tier 4 event on the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) with Ben Croft and Andy Hawthorne as the first and second seeds, respectively, in a field of 22 players.
