Racquet House San Diego Pro-Am - Round of 16

Kane Waselenchuk, the #1 player on the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) won his Round of 16 match in the Racquet House San Diego Pro-Am tournament by defeating the only player he's lost to since September 2008: Alvaro Beltran. Waselenchuk took it in three straight games 11-9, 11-4, 11-9.

Waselenchuk will face Jose Rojas in the quarter finals, as Rojas was an upset winner over Shane Vanderson in four games, 11-5, 11-5, 7-11, 13-11.

On the other side of the draw, 2nd seed Rocky Carson defeated former #1 Cliff Swain in three straight games, 11-9, 11-1, 11-5, and will next face Chris Crowther in the quarter finals, as Crowther defeated Juan Herrera, 6-11, 11-5, 11-2, 11-1.

The quarter finals are in progress and you can watch the action over the internet via the IRT Network, and today's play is free with subscribers being able to see the semi-finals and final on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
