The Women's Professional Racquetball Organization (WPRO) has released its rankings following last month's tournament in Cali, Colombia. The top four spots are unchanged with Paola Longoria #1, Rhonda Rajsich #2, Cheryl Gudinas #3 and Kerri Wachtel #4.
However, up to the 5th spot is Samantha Salas, which The Racquetball Blog believes is a career high for Salas. Furthermore, it's the first time that two Mexicans have been in the top 5. It's not the first time two non-Americans are in the top 5 though.
There were two non-Americans in the top 5 as recently as January 2009, when Longoria was #3 and Chilean Angela Grisar was 5th.
Jennifer Saunders has also moved up. She's now 7th ahead of Jo Shattuck in 8th and Keely Franks who's now 10th.
