2014 Pro Kennex IRT Tournament of Champions Preview

The International Racquetball Tour (IRT) is wrapping up its season this weekend with the 2014 Pro Kennex Tournament of Champions. Kane Waslenchuk will be looking to go out on a high, and confirm his standing as the #1 IRT player for a record 9th time in his career.

There are a few notable players in qualifying this weekend, including former #1 Cliff Swain, who was the winningest player during the decade that Portland hosted season ending Tournament of Champions events.

Oregon favourite Charlie Pratt is also in the draw, as are veterans Hiroshi Shimizu and Alejandro Herrera and juniors Connor Laffey and Andree Parrilla, the current U16 World Junior Champion.

The IRT Network will broadcast qualifying Thursday from 4 PM PDT and the Round of 16 beginning at 10 AM PDT Friday. Note that the final will be Saturday night at 7:00 PM PDT.
