Sean Klingaman won the Men's Open division at the Ektelon 209 Battle of the Ages tournament in Stockton, Cailfornia on Sunday by defeating Danney Lavely in the final, 15-12, 15-4.
In the semi-finals, Klingaman beat Matthew Majxner, 15-8, 15-8, and Lavely defeated Gerardo Guevara, 15-6, 15-14.
Jose Diaz and Marco Rojas won the Men's Open Doubles division by defeating Argentines Fernando Kurzbard and Pablo Kurzbard, 15-9, 15-4. Diaz and Rojas had a walkover win against Klingaman and Jimmy Oliver in the semi-finals while the Kurzbards beat Ismael Aldana Jr. and Robert Collins, 15-1, 15-6.
In Pueblo, Colorado, Nick Montalbano won the Cinco De Mayo Shootout - a Tier 5 event on the International Racquetball Tour (IRT). He defeated Brad Schopieray, 11-5, 11-3, 3-11, 11-9, in the final.
In the semis, Montalbano beat Felipe Camacho, 11-8, 11-4, 11-4, and Schopieray defeated Matt Meister, 11-0, 11-2, 11-6.
