PARC - 2012 Pan American Championships - Men's Draws

Luis Perez's fine performances so far at the XXV Pan American Championships in Temuco, Chile have earned the Dominican Republic player the 3rd seed in the men's singles elimination draw. Defending champion Daniel De La Rosa of Mexico is #1 seed and Canadians Vincent Gagnon and Michael Green are seeded 2nd and 4th, respectively.

Current World Junior Boys U18 Champion Carlos Keller of Bolivia is the 5th seed and a potential Keller-Green quarter final match could be one of the best of the draw.

In doubles, Mexicans Alejandro Cardona and Edson Martinez are top seeds with Costa Ricans Ivan Villegas and Bruno Casalvolone are 2nd seeds, despite losing a dramatic match to Canadians Nathaniel Husulak and Tim Landeryou on Monday.

The Canadians had earlier lost to Chileans Sebastian Roessler and Santiago Canedo and find themselves seeded 8th which will put them against Mexico in the quarter finals if they are able to win their Round of 16 match against Hondurans Sevrin Cruz and Sergio Baires.

The elimination round begins Wednesday in Temuco and runs through Saturday. The Pan American Racquetball Confederation (PARC) is streaming matches live via their website.
