Again it was Luis Perez who made the biggest victory at the XXV Pan American Championships in Temuco, Chile on Wednesday but this time it was in men's doubles. Perez and his Dominican Republic team-mate Junior Rodriguez were seeded 11th but they upset the 6th seeds Sebastian Franco and Juan Carlos Torres of Colombia, 15-14, 7-15, 11-8.
Perez and Rodriguez will next play Ricardo Monroy and Roland Keller of Bolivia in the quarter finals on Thursday.
The elimination rounds continue Thursday in Temuco with the 16s and quarter finals. The Pan American Racquetball Confederation (PARC) is streaming matches live via their website.
