As on the women's side, the men's doubles final will be a Mexico-Bolivia showdown as they won their respective semi-finals Friday at the XXV Pan American Championships in Temuco, Chile.
The #1 seeded Mexicans Alejandro Cardona and Edson Martinez defeated the Argentine team of Daniel Maggi and Fernando Kurzbard, 15-7, 1-1 injury forfeit in one semi-final while the Bolivians Ricardo Monroy and Roland Keller took out the Venezuela team of Cesar Castillo and Roberto Santander (Ven), 15-6, 15-6, in the other semi-final.
Bolivia wins it would the first men's doubles title for a South American team, while Mexico is the defending country, and has won the Pan American Championships three times perviously.
The final will be Saturday at 1:30 PM Chile time, and will be streamed live via the Pan American Racquetball Confederation (PARC) website.
