2012 Battle of the Alamo - PREVIEW
The Women's Professional Racquetball Organization (WPRO) is back in action this weekend with the Battle at the Alamo in San Antonio, Texas. Most of the top players are there, but Samantha Salas - 4th on the latest WPRO rankings - is again missing, although she did play earlier this month at the Pan American Championships in Chile, where she and Paola Longoria won women's doubles.
Longoria - the #1 WPRO player and gold medalist in Chile - is in San Antonio, as is Rhonda Rajsich, #2 on the WPRO.
Rajsich could face Cristina Amaya in the quarter finals, and Amaya had a good chance to beat Rajsich in Chile at the Pan Am Championships. Rajsich didn't have her A game in Chile, and it will be interesting to see how she plays this weekend.
