LPRT - Longoria wins Puget Sound Challenge

Paola Longoria won her 26th women's professional racquetball tournament, defeating surprise finalist Adrienne Fisher in the final of the Ladies Pro Racquetball Tour (LPRT) Puget Sound Challenge in Seattle by the scores of 11-2, 11-9, 11-0. The win puts Longoria fourth all time in women's pro racquetball history behind Lynn Adams, who won 45 events, Michelle Gould (41) and Cheryl Gudinas (39), and one ahead of Rhonda Rajich, who's won 25 women's pro events.*

Longoria also kept her winning streak intact. She has not lost a women's pro match since May 2011.

Fisher was in her first final at the pro level. She'd been in seven semi-finals previously, but hadn't won any of them until yesterday, when she defeated Gudinas.

The next LPRT event is the World Professional Racquetball Championships in Cali, Colombia, November 30-December 2.
