Adrirenne Fisher has reached the final of a women's pro racquetball event for the first time in her career, as she'll be in the final of the Ladies Pro Racquetball Tour (LPRT) Puget Sound Challenge in Seattle. It was generally a day of upsets in Seattle on Saturday. The lower seeded player won four of the six matches in the quarter finals and semi-finals.
LPRT #1 Paola Longoria was the only higher ranked player to win her matches against lower seeded competition, as she defeated 8th seed Cristina Amaya in the quarter finals and then Grace Hughes in the semi-finals, 11-2, 11-2, 11-2.
Hughes, the 12th seed, was an upset winner against 4th seed Kerri Wachtel, winning 8-11, 12-10, 11-6, 3-11, 11-9, in the quarter finals.
On the other side of the draw, Adrienne Fisher's road to the final Saturday began with a win over 3rd seed Krystal Csuk, 11-1, 11-1, 5-11, 11-1, in the quarter finals, and then she defeated Cheryl Gudinas in the semi-finals, 12-10, 5-11, 1-11, 11-8, 11-1.
