2015 USAR Intercollegiate Finals

Elizabeth Simmons and Lindsay Rasmussen of the University of Arizona successfully defended their Women's Doubles title at the 2015 USA Racquetball Intercollegiate Championships at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona by defeating Rachel Creel and Sarah Lewis of Oregon State, 15-11, 15-1, in the final.

But in Women's Singles, Kelani Bailey of Shenandoah University got the better of Simmons in the final, winning 15-5, 15-7, for her second Women's Singles title in the last three years, as she also won it in 2013. Simmons did finish one place better in Women's Singles than she had last year, when she was third.

Of note, 19th seed Hannah Shnurman of Northern Colorado, who lost to Bailey in the semi-finals, finished her great run in the tournament by winning the 3rd place match against Creel, 15-10, 14-15, 11-2.

Adam Manilla of the University of Colorado - Boulder captured the Men's Singles title by defeating 3rd seed Marco Rojas (University of the Pacific) in the final, 15-9, 7-15, 11-9. It's an impressive victory for Manilla, as Rojas is the 8th ranked player on the International Racquetball Tour (IRT).

Manilla was a double winner Tempe, as he and Nick Riffel won the Men's Doubles title, improving on the runner-up finish last year, as beat 3rd seeds Jacob Matthews and Brad Schopieray (Colorado State, Pueblo), 15-8, 15-4, in the final. Schopieray and Felipe Camacho got the better of Manilla and Riffel last year, so the win this year is a measure of revenge for the Colorado-Boulder players.
