Kane Waselenchuk defeated Rocky Carson, 11-3, 11-1, 11-5, to win the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) MonaVie Salt Lake City Pro-Am Saturday night in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was Waselenchuk's seventh victory over Carson this season, and continues his on court winning streak that began in January 2009.
Carson's nine points ties the fewest points Waselenchuk has given up in a final this season. Waselenchuk gave up 9 points to Carson when he won their final match in Kansas City back in October; the final there was 11-4, 11-4, 11-1.
The next IRT Tier 1 event is in St Louis next weekend. Following that there will be a weekend off before they meet again in Tijuana, Mexico for the Mexico Open April 7-10.
