WPRO - Terrapin Shootout 16s & QFs

The Women's Professional Racquetball Organization's (WPRO's) Terrapin Shootout in Laurel, Maryland began on Saturday with the first two rounds. There were no upsets as the top 4 seeds are in the semi-finals that go Sunday morning.

However, former top 5 player Kristen Bellows had a close match with 4th seed Samantha Salas Solis before falling in four games, 11-8, 12-10, 9-11, 11-5. The result suggests that Bellows is playing well, but perhaps not yet at the level she once had.

Three Mexicans are in the semi-finals: WPRO #1 Paola Longoria will play Susana Acosta in an all Mexican battle on the top side of the draw and WPRO #2 Rhonda Rajsich (USA) will play Mexican Salas Solis in the semi-final on the bottom of the draw.
